To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Supracolor (which I actually use, and have done since I first bought a tin when I was about 8 in a French supermarket of all places!) Caran d'Ache have collaborated with Alber Elvas who decorated the tin with beautiful sketches.
Pretty, no?
I've been working on some special one off pieces especially for Valentines day. As they're intended to be little birdy gifts I'm making them as detailed as poissble which has made me go a little cross eyed. However, my eyesight is (just about) good enough to make out some pretty things I've stumbled across today...
Laura Tabor jewellery...wouldn't these be perfect for Valentines day?
I'm feeling a little sluggish today (in all senses of the word)
But upon seeing these lovely little beauties from Bethan Lloyd Worthington, my day brightened considerably at the thought of wearing a teapot and mouse as jewellery :)

How amazing is this tap? I can't decide whether it's tacky in the extreme or beautiful...possibly a new category I like to call "tacky nice." Either way, I love the photograph!
I seem to be a little bit (ok very) behind with my emails, so to everyone who has emailed asking about getting certain prints or any other bits and pieces drop me another email and I promise you'll get a reply! New years resolution....keep up with email!

New prints over at Etsy...special Valentine lovey dovey birds :)
I hope everyone had wonderful new year celebrations...unfortunately I was tucked up in bed sniffing and spluttering (I didn't realise you could actually miss having a hangover). But here's to a happier and healthier new year!
Starting with some exciting work I had published in December for the New York Times magazine annual "Year in Ideas" issue.
