Paperchase & paper play

Although I've come down with some kind of bug just in time Christmas (thank you santa) I managed to bundle myself up and make it down to Paperchase (which by the way is open from 8am over Christmas if anyone fancies a verrry early morning stationary fix!) to see my greetings cards in action.

Despite my dad offering to "move them up in the display a smidge" I'm very happy with them although it's slightly surreal to see them being sold in one of my favourite shops.

Also, on a side note, I'd like to say I was doing something productive during my time off but I've mainly been spending my time falling asleep and making santa out of paper. Oh yeah, I live in the fast lane.

Learning to love yellow

I've never really taken to the colour yellow but given the appearance of the sun over a snow covered London (well at least my part of London) today, all of these goodies particularly appeal.

Snow day (in my dreams)

1. Coat - too thin but lovely detailing on shoulders and back
2. Heels - impractical but lined with fluffy stuff
3. Trousers - roll up ankles technically not needed because of boots but apparently means I am "on trend"
4. Jumper - warm, cozy, sleeves too long (and just how I like them)
5. Handbag - big enough to stash two hot water bottles and a pile of sketchbooks in...wouldn't save me in a snow drift but at least I could draw a lovely SOS...

Craftacular catch up

Craftacular totes & trinkets

Posts have been a bit sparse around here lately but it's all been for a good cause. With the Craftacular coming up I've been making as much as I can before the big day. A last minute push has resulted in these totes & trinkets...

I'm almost crafted out, which has helped with my "big decision" to take a couple of months off of work to recuperate after this seemingly long year. I'm feeling a bit antsy about it seeing as I'm one of those people who ends up working even when a holiday is declared (contrary, moi?!) but I think it's much needed and in the end will probably do me a world of good. Fingers crossed anyway...

A Craftacular update...

I wish I had a bit more time to blog but I've been busy making bits and pieces for the upcoming Bust Craftacular. I thought I'd give you all a little sneaky preview of what will be on offer....

I'm loving the calendars a little too much, I almost don't want to let them go. Plus I've been stocking up on Christmas supplies, especially teeny little trees. They don't really serve any purpose other than making me smile.

And talking of making me smile, my cards in association with Art Press are now available in the flagship Paperchase stores on Tottenham Court Road and in Manchester. I haven't been to see them yet but I'm sure to be found in there surreptitiously taking photos as soon as I can!
