I feel like my blog has become a little self indulgent recently so I'm going to start posting all of the little bits and pieces that catch my eye.
Starting with these cute jewels by Laura Tabor at ASOS. My little birds are always partial to a big bow, though I think the monocle pendant is my favourite...very dapper!
Strolling aimlessly (and empty walleted) through Selfridges at the weekend, I came across the Christmas department. Now while a very small part of me thinks it's too early for Christmas shenanigans the rest of me embraces it. The mere glint of a sparkly bauble reminds me of gingerbread, cinnamon and the smell of a christmas tree. So I'm starting early with the holiday birdies...
The weather has been so erratic this week, one day it's pouring, the next it's like summer again! The sun has decided to make an appearence today which has put me in the holiday mood...the thing I enjoy most about holidays is poeple watching. I don't think anyone does the "sunburnt tourist" look quite like us Brits though.
It was a miserably grey and rainy day yesterday so I tried to keep warm and busy by making some decorations and mini noteboards...for etsy perhaps?
I think they must be posh birds because each one has a gold leaf beak, in my mind they feast on superior seed or maybe just petite fours from Pierre Herme or Laduree. They look like the kind of birds with a sweet tooth.
It's been one of those days...I tried consoling myself by wearing a new cosy knitted hat (avec teeny flower brooch) which temporarily worked until I ended up waiting half an hour for a bus that's meant to come every 8 minutes. So I'm a bit behind with everything but managed to find some time to work on these....
