After being pointed in the direction of online boutique Brittique by Susie at Style Bubble I have endangered my bank account by spotting these lovely pieces of clothing. Does it make it any better if they're in the sale? (a resounding yes, says my conscience)
I'm the kind of person that finds pens and paper endlessly fascinating...does it make me a strange person? Yes, probably, but there are few things I enjoy more than walking around a huge art shop looking at ten varieties of the same pen, gazing at £4 individual sheets of paper and reasoning with myself as to why I need another fineliner to join the evergrowing collection at home.
It's mini projects like this that act as an excuse to buy more paper...I think it's justified!
Thanks to Holly over at Decor8 for featuring me this week...and in response to several requests for prints of my work, I'm looking into printing and setting up an etsy shop or something similar. Can anyone give me any pointers? I'm a bit of a newbie (I've only just got used to blogger!).

These are just a few of my faves from the clothing section. I feel like I'm being drawn more to pattern recently, I'm thinking I might try my hand at pattern making. Maybe it's just a natural leap for an illustrator to make?
Apparently parakeets have started appearing in London and are now a threat to other species of birds...personally I can't think of anything I would like to see more than a flock (is that the right word?) of colourful parakeets on a sunny spring morning! Although my sympathies go to the other birds if the report is right :)
I feel a bit empty...my major project is done and after nearly half a year of looking the same drawings day in day out I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. All of my illustrations ended up on a wall with various collected trinkets from charity shops/fairs/markets etc. As much as I enjoyed it I am now savouring the "me" time and am revelling in the fact that I can now get back to things like teaching myself how to knit, some beading and generally lazing around for a few weeks...bliss!
