I'm off to New York at the end of this week for my birthday (hurrah!)

Looking back at my outfit from a few days ago I can understand why that bee felt compelled to attach itself to me. Bright red hair, multiple floral prints and a perfume that smells like brown sugar = walking, talking bee magnet.

I had a traumatic incident with a bumblebee today. An insect flying into my hair kind of incident. It was one that probably should have been in slow motion with an operatic soundtrack. Actually the less said about it the better, let us wipe clear the memory with nice pictures of bees...
