Finally I feel like I'm getting some work done...I guess lots of little pieces eventually come together to make one big pile o sketches! It's strange how you can feel like you're going round in circles sometimes without really getting any outcome, especially when it comes to art and design. I guess it's almost like writers block. Hopefully I'm passing over that now! I'm still exploring nature but trying to team it with fashion...but still very much a work in progress.
I've been a bad blogger, I'm sorry for my absence, I've been caught up in a flurry of project work. However, I did find time to come to the realisation that even door handles can be beautiful!

Wow, stunning sculptural ring by Aalto Jewelry
There seems to be a strong sense of embroidery in Brigitte Adolphs jewellery, I'm not quite sure whether the 2nd and 3rd pieces are made out of some sort of strengthened thread or they've been cast to look like that but I love them either way!

Some really pretty and delicate jewellery by Carla Caruso, I particularly like the rings
Found through The Carrotbox blog
Beautiful red ring at Mudan Jewellery. I think it might be cinabar (is that the right spelling?) but I love the vivid red colour...I've bought a couple of beads like this before and they make wonderful accent beads.
Carrying on with the natural theme, here are a few botanical illustrations I've been working on for an upcoming project. I like them but want to mix them with some more contemporary style fashion illustrations. I'm calling them a work in progress!
