Oh me too me too! I have spent the last hour scouring ebay for satchels to spend my christmas money on.It's really interesting to see one of your drawings 'in progress'. It looks like it's made up of lots of little dots. If so that must be so time consuming!
I used to pretend that all the time when I was a kid! I would draw animals and clothes for my Barbie and all of those important things, imagining that they would become real for me.
In the 70s, my kids used to watch an English cartoon show on US telly, with a character whose drawings came to life. We sometimes sing as much of the opening music as we can remember: "Oh, you know my name is Simon, and the things I draw come true, blah blah can't remember, then something about "over the wall with you." Apparently Simon had to go over the wall to do his drawrings (our version of his lovely accent). I hope someone remembers Simon, too. Happy new year, from Kate in Oregon.
I love the thought of drawings coming to life! ...oh, imagine all the shoes and bags lol. But I'd like to say as well that your illustrations are so wonderful and like Clare has mentioned already, it's really interesting to be able to see a drawing in progress! You are very talented :)
Sign me up for that too!
