I know I'm a day late but I wanted to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate at this time of year. I want to give thanks to all of you who read this blog, support the little birds and provide me with such great inspiration day in, day out.
Flying into the shop
Who needs a rocking horse when you can have a hot pink rocking sheep?
Woo hoo...flying into Etsy now!
I haven't gone into hibernation...just busy with some exciting bits and pieces! I'm sure all will be revealed soon...

Ooh...sparkley holiday goodness now in my Etsy shop!
I've been all a sparkle making one off little drawings for the holiday season....hat wearing, berry adorned, mince pie loving little tweeters!
Sorry to keep harping on but I really do love me a coffee! And the red cups have arrived which means the lure of gingerbread is getting harder and harder to resist!
I'm an unashamed slave to Starbucks (well...slightly shamed but I enjoy every minute of my coffee fix so I try not to feel guilty afterwards!)...is it a bit sad that I want one these?
Cut out and keep mini tree
It's feeling increasingly Christmassy over here in London. All of the shops have been festooned with decorations and the elaborate window displays are starting to appear (I'm looking forward to Selfridges and Harvey Nichols....always a treat). Yesterday felt like the first real wintery weekend so far and I'm getting that little tingle of holiday anticipation what with all of the magazines writing their enticing gift guides. It's the decoration pages that I most enjoy though, probably because they're filled with sparkly birds...
I love writing letters...I love receiving letters even more (especially when they're non-bill related). There's something lovely about getting a handwritten note in the post and writing with an old fashioned fountain pen is just about one of my favourite things to do. My handwriting used to be atrocious and since I abandoned all hope of ever writing both joined up and legible words it's become a lot neater. What with all of the recession doom and gloom it seems like letter writing might bring some cheer to the impending morning post !
