I'm loving these leggings, unfortunately they're out of my price range but and knowing me I'd snag the first two pairs on everything an leave a trail of sequins in my wake...
Click to see it in all of it's birdy detail
I think part of being an illustrator is harboring a potentially bank breaking obsession with stationary. Paper, pens, coloured masking tape, desk tidys...I can't get enough no matter how sad that makes me sound.
Plus, with other products like these, who could resist any of them?
All from the delightful Fishs Eddy
I thoroughly recommend this shop for retro specs...I was in geek glasses heaven at Spitalfields market last weekend
Mimi was a supermodel in her heyday. She passed the time galivanting around the world...from dancing down Carnaby Street to lounging around in Studio 54 with Andy and Bianca in oversized sunglasses and sparkly jumpsuits. She's just uncovered an old photo album and is releasing her snapshots to all...
Love love love love
Sorry, they're all the words I can handle today.
It's time for resting

More dream furniture by the folk at Folkform
Also take a peek at their technique development of combining materials through using presses to embed natural forms into masonite hardboard (wow, now that was a sentence...breathe!)
I'm loving the work of Yael Mer & Shay Alkalay at Raw Edges design studio
ps. did anyone have one of these when they were little? I loved mine and think I would love this cabinet just as much.
"Stack" challenges the norm about what a drawer unit can be. Built up of floating drawer units, there is no restriction to height or the direction in which the drawers can open. It's designed to be both sculptural and functional. Two for the price of one!

I never fail to be inspired by Susie's blog. A myriad of colour, pattern and texture, her personal style photos are just waiting to be drawn and her ability at finding new and upcoming talent is a talent in itself!
How could I not love Alex Monroe jewellery? It appeals to me on every level..tiny and delicate, little sparkly bits and of course those little birds. Admittedly, I don't like every product I see with a bird plastered over it but his jewellery really is beautiful and I can fully understand why he won the Jewellery Designer of the Year prize at the UK Jewellery Awards last year.

I'm loving his new collection (lucky charms a plenty!) as well as lots of other beautiful designer jewellery found at Accessories Online
I'll let you in on a little secret. I have a problem...an organisation problem stemming from a hoarding problem. It seems to surprise everyone I tell, based on my intricate little drawings and handwriting, everyone assumes my environment is meticulous and tidy. Well...they're nowhere near I'm afraid. I have too many things and not enough space to store them!
So I'll start with some dream furniture by Zoe Murphy who creates imagery inspired by Margate where she lives and then applies it to recycled interior products. Seriously, they took my breath away and her ethos of "re-use, re-flect and love what belongs to us" matches my thinking completely, having recently become addicted to trawling ebay for old furniture to "do up".
That's why, when I see furniture as beautiful as this, I crave to be one of those people who have a place for everything. Unfortunately my possessions sit where I leave them (or where I can fit them), wherever that may be! As of late I've been feeling a change, as I try to feel more like a professional (!) and from today, the big tidy up starts!

ps. I'm revealing my secret love for G Plan furniture...not to everyones taste but mine...oh yes. I want to cover it with Orla Kiely wallpaper and a myriad of trinkets.
My interpretation of some latest Sartorialist lovelies
Trying a new style out...hmm...opinions? I'm quite liking them (but that might just be because there's a sausage dog)

Having a family member that's involved in the drinks industry I'm lucky enough to visit some pretty cool bars in London. I think they're starting to influence my work...
Not that I'm encouraging drinking or anything but the little birds do enjoy a cocktail or two.

Not that it's really boot weather but I love the colours of these Campers
Maybe these Jeffrey Campbell cutaway boots are more appropriate for summer?
A nice of bit studding by Jeffrey Campbell again, much more tempting for summer (although it's still too cold here to get my tootsies out yet)
And I will always have a love for Vans, quite possibly the comfiest shoes I have ever owned. I'm really liking these ones, even if they would make my feet resemble watermelons...
