I'm always on the hunt for inspiring images on the web and was over the moon when I found this community of livejournal. As I mentioned on a previous post, I'm a bit (that's a little bit of an understatement in itself) of a magazine hoarder so when I found a site where people post editorials from fashion magazines I was over the moon. There really are some spectacular images there...
A trip to Liberty and some sneaky photos without getting caught once by any of the assistant's! I haven't had a proper look around Liberty's for quite a while and was reminded how lovely the products they sell are. The in store displays look wonderful, so well put together.
Due to lack of space I've been forecd to throw out some of my old magazines *sob* Like many of you, I'm addicted to magazines of all kinds, fashion, home, food whether they be glossy matte or even cheap paper zines (often the most interesting to look at). So although I've had to say goodbye to many a mag it did give me a chance to take another look through them and tear out anything that caught my eye. Flicking through the home and lifestyle issues I came across a few goodies and thought I'd share....
Teacup and saucer, part of the Ethereal 101 collection at Wedgewood
I didn't even realise Wedgewood made jewellery...this pin is cute
Gorgeous Doily table from Miscellaneous
Beautiful little bud vase by Samantha Dickenson at Vanilla Designs
I think this idea is fab, it works on the notion that they want to create innovative and imaginative cake stands by combining old plates people have donated to charity shops and remained there abandoned because they don't fit into a particular dinner set. Great idea at People Will Always Need Plates

Some beautiful jewellery from Laura Tabor London
I love the natural themes she uses for her work, very inspiring!

I stumbled across Hidden Art a while ago but only just got around to having a proper peek at their shop. There are some lovely bits and pieces plus the good feeling you get from buying from a company that supports and promotes designer-makers!
Vintage plate coasters by Ella Doran
Motorbike brooch by Sarah ChiltonRose creep shelf by Susan Badley Design
These are a bit different, I think I like the messy sketchy feel to them but they're quite a departure from my usual style.
More scans from my sketchbook...I've noticed there's not much consistency between the different styles of my work at the moment, but maybe that's a good thing? Hmm, back to the drawing board!
