Sonia and Robert Delaunay often used it within their work, as does David Hockney and although I can spot it on the colour wheel I'm still clueless as to what it's actually called!

This is my favourite colour too! I was thinking , ah it's definitely got a name, I call this...and then my mind went blank and I realised it wasn't that easy after all. Having read the other comments though I would definitely agree with teal.
Hmmmmm...well, on the color wheel, it looks like either phthalo blue or good old cerulean. Cerulean is prettier sounding, so I'll go with that.
